07 Dec Every Wedding Is As Unique As The Bride & Groom Getting Married
Being booked to play at a wedding is never just a job, it is not just about playing a few songs.
A wedding day is charged full of emotions, many of them full of love and joy.
However, they can also be tinged with sadness if a family member, such as a parent, has passed away. Sometimes the music I play represents someone’s memory, and this can become a poignant moment during the ceremony.
For the couple booking me, this is their one special day, and I am always aware of how honoured I feel to be part of this.
On the wedding day, not everyone may see me, but I am aware that each note will be weaving amongst the conversations and creating memories that will last a lifetime. During the wedding ceremony, I time the music to fit in with each step the bride takes, being aware of the emotions and love filling the room in which the wedding is taking place.
Every wedding is as unique as the bride and groom getting married.
