String Trio
The Classical Strings Trio comprises of two violins and a cello, and performs the same wide ranging repertoire as the Quartet. Depending on availability of players, the line up can also be two violins and a viola player.
The Trio is slightly more compact than the String Quartet, so if space is a problem, but you would like more sound than a solo or duo, then this option is ideal. With both violins playing in harmony together, and the cello or viola providing the bass line, there is music to suit everyone’s taste.
